Effective July 1, 2012, adult children up to age 26 are eligible for enrollment on their parent’s health insurance through CCMHG, regardless of another offer of insurance.  Per the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) guidelines, CCMHG is not required to provide health insurance coverage to dependents of dependents.

Dependent Eligibility – Verification Documents Required

In accordance with the ACA, adult children who are enrolled on their parent’s health insurance through CCMHG, are covered through the end of the month in which they turn age 26.  The effective date of this change is shown below per each health plan carrier.
